The Menu

Students staying in the residential accommodation have the pleasure of receiving 3 hot meals per day including breakfast, lunch and dinner (tea). While the packed lunches that students receive from homestay families are well prepared, many students prefer to have a selection of dishes available to choose from. An excellent combination of ingredients is used on a daily basis to make sure a variety of meals are available on a weekly basis. The weekly menu also includes a themed dinner day. During these themed days, a famous dish is prepared from a country of choice adding further variety and excitement to the meals served.

"A menu must excite you, with seasonal, locally sourced and sustainable ingredients that naturally blend together"

Breakfast

It's the most important meal as we all know. A successful day starts with a good breakfast. The menu consists of a selection of food which cater for all tastes and cultures. The selection includes

Lunch

Nothing creates hunger like a morning full of English lessons. The meal selections are changed on a daily basis to ensure an exciting mix of options. Lunch is the biggest meal of the day with a great selection to choose from including

  • Freshly made soup

  • The lunch main meal

  • Lunch Vegan or Vegetarian Meal

  • Lunch on the Side which includes a healthy selection of vegetables

  • Protein & Salad Bar from freshly sliced turkey breast, baked ham, plain and marinated Chicken fillets etc.

  • Fruit & Dessert which is different selection each day from freshly Cut Fruits, Berry Fruit Crumble with Custard, Banana Cake with Caramel Sauce etc.

Dinner ( Also known as Tea Time)

After a full day of activities, hunger starts to creep back again so dinner is always a welcome sight. This is the last meal provided in the day and offers a good selection to make sure students tame that hunger. This meal includes a main meal, an open salad bar and freshly cut fruit salad.

The Dining Hall

The dining hall is built for purpose. It's both large and spacious and found on campus meaning students don't need to travel off site for meals. With lots of space and great food, the hall is always filled with warm smiles and laughter. Join our summer school this year in Limerick and be part of the fun and laughter while you improve your English and make new friends.
